It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bernice (Fast) Bartel.
Throughout her life Mom was a woman of strength and love, walking faithfully with the Lord. She adored her family, Tim Horton's coffee and Lindt chocolate.
She was predeceased by husband Len in 2006. She leaves behind children: Michael (Linda), Christine (Greg), and Peter (Liz); precious grandchildren: Sara, Megan (Matt), Jessica (Shawn), Caity (Jesse), Jordan (Marina), Julie (Coletan); beloved great-grandchildren: Frances and Faye.
No funeral service will be held. Flowers gratefully declined.
We are appreciative for the exceptional care offered by staff at Grace Hospital and Lions Manor.

My deepest condolences on the loss of such a classy, funny smart dressed lady, who we all loved and respected. She is now with her beloved Len, and the 2 are having a cup of coffee, all the while watching over their family, some things never change.
